PLOT SPAM POST

RPers are often very shy creatures. aim/msn/y!m/whatever is scary okay, and prodding random strangers is not something we're all good at. But, as it is our job as mods to make sure plotting happens, we've come up with (hopefully) a solution!

Here's how it works:

× You leave a comment saying "PEOPLE IN ROOM 3-10, WHERE ARE YOU??" or "ANY OTHER INSULT SPECIALISTS AROUND???"

× People in room 3-10 or insult specialists respond, and you discuss how your characters might be interacting, seeing as they share a room or have the same job.

× You can, of course, suggest other types of plot, too. For instance: "oh yeah, my character's a creep, who wants to be perved on? 8)" or "he's going to pick a fight with the first person he runs into. Volunteers?"

Just a reminder, this is open to EVERYONE! Even if you were just accepted yesterday and are brand-shiny new, come on in, make a post, tag around, and plot some CR!

And that's about it! We throw people into rooms together at random to make them interact, and hopefully this makes it a little easier for everyone. Same with jobs, really, and we can never have enough shenanigans! :D

I'm still offering the Calvinball log, but I don't think there's much interest.

There were lots of good ideas there, and many work great for new events. Maybe someone could put a list together and take it to voting in the comm, then give that to the mods to use at the end of each month or something? Same with planet ideas.

Ichinomiya Kantarou | tactics

Occupation: For the time he's been acting as a university professor teaching Japanese folklore with a focus on youkai.

Kantarou is an exorcist and folklore scholar. He's from the 1920s and practices esoteric Buddhism. He's pretty much an expert on eastern supernatural, though he has an interest in learning more about western culture and the "youkai" of other worlds.

He does tend to be a bit of a conman though.

-- Still with Aang, in spite of a lot of recent drama (again, mostly thanks to the Drive). They're talking things out....

-- Working this month as a Bar Maid. I plan on doing a post about this at some point, once I get the proper inspiration as to how to go about it.

I've been on hiatus for a while, on and off, and I'm super out of the loop! I'd really love any new CR, plots, CR already had being expanded, etc. I really need to get back into the game sob.

As for ideas, I was thinking about throwing another big party with Mieu! It's been over a year since I did one and I'm thinking about ideas for one. Would anyone be interested in another Mieu party?

Room 7-9, Proprietor of the Crimson Lion
Minato is taking it easy this month, focusing on his restaurant, his pet Ralts, and taking up a hobby in the form of a violin. A log for the shop will go up soon, but if your character has nowhere else to work, slots are still open for working for him. Regardless, he is up for anything plot-wise.

Patchouli Knowledge || Touhou Project | weekwizard
New Gensokyo, Magic teacher
Important to note: The Scarlet Devil Mansion, meaning Flandre, Remilia, Patchy, and Karen, are planning a Halloween party this month. Stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, Patchy is also teaching two different classes on demonology, one on defense against demons, and one on summoning. The former is a standard high school AND university course, and the latter is a Magic Guild course. She is welcoming any and all, regardless of student status or not. Patchy is also handling the logistics of the aforementioned party, and slots are still available.


Princess Celestia || My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic | thesunislaw
Room 5-5, Assistant Manager of 4tea2
Aside from working the tea shop, Celestia is... slowly losing it. Being away from her kingdom and responsibility is starting to take its toll. Her work does stave this off, but it's only a matter of time. Before she completely snaps or something, she's venting this frustration via the liberal application of pranks. Harmless for now, but they might become slightly more... bold as time goes on. Knowing her sister is sulking this month does not help these matters.

Tali'Zorah vas Normandy || Mass Effect | shotgunhacks
Room 5-5, MECHA Engineer
Tali is busy with two things: Designing mechs, and fixing the Normandy. Both are tiring, but the former is at least fun for her. She does need someone to help test her designs, though. Perhaps a MECHA pilot, or perhaps a SPELL agent looking to get info on the competition?

Overall, I am open to anything you want to do, so just hit me up!

Amidst the Halloween party or whatever occasion, Kreutzer will tell Patchy about her danmaku stuff if it's brought up. Probably get some social link points up that way.

Speaking of, Daring and Minato need to meet up because Friendship is Magic in both Equestria and the Personaverse. FIGHT ME

Kreutzer went though a lot of effort into cheering up Luna, so she's willing to do the same for Celestia if needed. Django can as well, but he'd only be as successful as any yes-man would be.

As for Tali, Kreutz is the only really tech-savvy person I have, so that might be a thing. Django's enough of a shounen hero to lend a hand after apologizing for the madness of soap opera drive.

✯Spends most of his time off badly chilling with his bros and/or exploring the ship since he is relatively new and because he's in a good place to check out his environment instead of traveling 40+ minutes to get to a place to drink coffee and then turning tail and going home
✯Is actually really fucking excited for the holidays because he's like 500% American so he'll be giving out candy on Halloween and making everybody actually say what they're thankful for at Thanksgiving and making himself a nice and naughty list. Maybe not a naughty list but seriously.

Within the next week, I want to put up a log for a Public Forum about all the laws they want to put into effect on Fringol some 4-6 years from now. Kaiba will have a few of his own and I was considering adding some silly state laws that exist in real life, but I want to ask all of you if there are any laws you guys would want to see. It would be an open log so that your characters could petition to have a law taken up as well. So if there is any law or subject that would really interest (or annoy) your characters, please let me know!

Also there's some birthday or something happening on October 25th. Not that he wants anyone to know that.

Atem: Apartment 6-11A. Lives with Mokuba.

He took this month off and subsequently got into a plane crash at the beginning of it. He's tentatively around now and his usual self. As usual looking for any sort of CR because he's a friendly guy most of the time. Games are always a go, if you have a game you want to play he'll play it or if you want to learn Duel Monsters he'll teach it.

Kind of still on the brood-y side but getting better about it and a little banged up after his expedition.
